Electrical appliances: Procedures
In order to set up an electrical appliance, knowing some verbs and expressions makes it easier to understand the operations. Here some examples of them:
·         Turn it on
·         Turn it off
·         Plug it in
·         Unplug it
·         Turn down the volume
·         Turn the volume up
·         Insert the disc
·         Press the start button
·         Connect it to…
·         Unbox/unpack
·         Port/ USB Port


Exercise 2  
Firstly, pay close attention to each of the previous expressions, then watch the following video, and keeping in mind these expressions watch it until you find out their meanings. (note: You can activate English subtitles by clicking the "CC" button). Secondly, hit the comment button at the end of this post and write a short comment regarding the use of internet in the English class.

I think that the use of the internet in my English classes helps and encourages practice in the language, also these types of internet pages are very good for learning English, I love them, using the internet in classes makes everything more fun, the Using the internet also makes learning easier.

  6. I think we can give the internet a good use in class, because it let us search the meaning of some words we may don't know and it makes the class more entertaining.
