Electrical appliances: Procedures

In order to set up an electrical appliance, knowing some verbs and expressions makes it easier to understand the operations. Here some examples of them:

·         Turn it on

·         Turn it off

·         Plug it in

·         Unplug it

·         Turn down the volume

·         Turn the volume up

·         Insert the disc

·         Press the start button

·         Connect it to…

·         Unbox/unpack

·         Port/ USB Port

Exercise 2  

Firstly, pay close attention to each of the previous expressions, then watch the following video, and keeping in mind these expressions watch it until you find out their meanings. (note: You can activate English subtitles by clicking the "CC" button).
